Everywhere Around Me Poem by Francis Duggan

Everywhere Around Me

The beauty of Nature is around me today
A beauty to view for that I do not have to pay
The nesting birds chirp and sing on bushes and trees
And the freshness of Spring is in the coastal breeze
That blow up the hill from the Pacific shore
The beauty in Nature is forever more
For lovers of Nature to read and recite
The writers and poets stories and poems do write
Of Nature whose beauty will be living on
Long after their gift of life from them has gone
The songs of the birds such a beautiful thing
In late September in the early Spring
And today in the sunshine so lovely to see
Nature at her greenest and finest everywhere around me.
