Evil Shall Never Last - Poem by Leah Sontazia

Evil Shall Never Last -

Rating: 5.0

Thy deathly come
to take me from,
across verdant fields
the grass shall wield.

He strains his path;
untouched the Earth
to resonate with Hell-
and open its shell.

Thy has been cracked,
I know all to well,
the shriek of the Earth
as he converses with Hell.

A gurgle I heard,
from within the deepest pit.
The dark, ageless night
became once again lit.

It rose from the depths,
swallowing all it met,
Death vanished; a fear of the past...
Evil shall never last-
