Except The Present Poem by Old Teenage Poems

Except The Present

Even as you're walking from the beach
the sun is fading on your skin.
Even as you're waking up, shaking
the trails of your dreams are withdrawing
And the life you have lived
is but memories,
uncertain and unconfirmed

So in a world of change
and Movement
- what time do we know
Except the present

Great use of descriptive language, nicely picked words and greatly expressed idea. Well done
