Exercising Free Will - Ii Poem by RAJ NANDY

Exercising Free Will - Ii

EXERCISING FREE WILL - II
(I)
Should everything in life remains pre-
ordained,
And we are mere pawns in the hands of
fate,
How do I exercise my free will, -
Since the final result shall remain un-
changed still?
Though I have heard often people say,
God help them who help themselves!
We must face the consequence of our
actions and deeds,
While exercising free will to serve our
needs!
Should success and failure be pre-ordained,
Still life cannot be tamely surrendered to
destiny or fate!
(II)

But this life is a continuous dynamic motion,
It is a fluid and a persistent evolving creation;
A never ending process of creative evolution!
Perhaps all reality is one of being and change,
A change created by the impelling life force,
And the will to survive these changing force;
Through the freedom of our choice and by our
subsequent actions!
Only those who continue to adapt themselves,
Remain fittest to survive this evolving creation,
Through our exercise of free will and action!
