Exhilarating Pain Poem by Ashly Raju

Exhilarating Pain

The dream was awakened
And there began the throb.
The heart throb blow
To the vale of lullaby.
As if the light of dawn
Bloomed in the glistening dingle
The smile reverberated in the heart.
As the wax forms to a candle
The beating cinder formed
In the scintilla of her blood
Through the cossets of the mother's bosom.
The glance of the mother,
The lilt of the life,
Turned into her-
To the clay of her love.
The band of her emotions
Tuned the poetry of the new life.
She fired the ash on the cinder
With an exhilarating pain
Of the sunlight
When its shine falls
On the soft leaflets.
The grief of ploughing her feelings
Was embraced by the saplings.
The pain, when the small roots
Pierced her soul
Severed from her
By the glow of the pearl in the oyster.
In the jiffy,
The nonchalance of her love
Bemoaned by a tremendous breeze
But the scent of the breeze
Touched the poem of her soul
At the threshold of a cradle song.
