Exotic Stripes – Sonnet #15 Poem by Stephanie Eve Kane Arado

Exotic Stripes – Sonnet #15

Exotic tiger stripes encourage praise
Tribal history in jungle and plains
Nature’s beautiful and wildly strange ways
Respected not squandered as selfish gains
Cream, orange, black, eyes of blazing amber
Lush vegetation forms your quiet lair
King survivor makes onlookers somber
Your silent movement gives natives a scare
Majesty amidst landscapes declining
Villages keep industrializing
Resonating with a familiar ring
Poets known for conceptualizing
Symbolic figure of untamed landscape
Concealing intrigue with your dark striped cape
