Explorations Poem by Ursula Tillmann

Explorations

Thoughts quenched by morning dew
diluting visions of last night's dreams.

Sparks of daylight seeping into valleys
casting rays of hopes upon shadows.

The eye beholds lost memories
stacked and forgotten, corroding with rust.

Unspoken words take flight with blackbirds
sailing upward toward nothingness.

Fearful whispers glide and vanish,
dissolving into new dimensions

Leaving us contemplating horizons
we will never explore...
