But I'm not easy and I won't
sacrifice
How far i've come
Just to fall in Love
because,
One beautiful lifetime
next to you
could lead to a lot of regret
If i pawned off sleepless nights'
dreams
on a pillow
on a bed
lying there next to your head

But if you can
keep the thread
be supportive instead

Because my eye does not wander
to all things of glitter and gold
to all those promises spoken
from lips
that are cold
and hearts even more so as well
