Explorer Poem by Rickardo BecklesBurrowes

Explorer

Burnt but not consumed by fire
Pluck pain from inside
How we dance upon the high wire
Cueing for the bumpiest of rides
Once we boxed donkeys on the sun
We must commit or leave
For you’re close up has begun
Waiting for others to believe
Embrace you’re insatiable force
Luminous from you’re bones to your action
Whatever the degree, navigate the course
Seeking adventure in this life with courage, and passion
