Exploring Religions Poem by Ruturaj Zadbuke

Exploring Religions

Religion, mystical art thee
Before thee, man was free
Mystical are scriptures thy
Thee gradually made life a sty

Why kneel before that Jesus Guy
Did he say, 'pray to me, followers my'
Great, was the prophet, I agree so,
But why a non-muslim be regarded his foe

Budha, serene is his smile,
but didn't he just pioneer a new lifestyle?
Bhagvad Gita, may provide satisfactory solutions to me
But I believe it is a book of 'How life should be.'

Spirituality lies in the depth of every religion
Thy origins are based on not God but reason
God was ancient way of moral education
Science & brains have been proved to be for the reason.

Jesus, Prophet, Buddha and Hindu scholars
May have been great thinkers and philosophers
They believed God was their way to get people's support
Wise were they & may have found, divine wasn't this universe's creation
Divine weren't thy origins religion.
Thou weren't anything but a brilliant vision.
