Exponential Love Poem by richard ilnicki

Exponential Love

High above the earth, its powers
of collaboration, I see only her.
Nothing, no matter how masterfully planned
can disguise her beauty, her majestic portrait.
Mistakes and/or intentional acts
of rebellion can not change my love for her.
Revocations and repudiations no matter how viciously administered
can stop my heart
for one moment from loving her so; the lubb dupp
sounds that complete the cycle of auscultation
mark an endless beat
where the circle gets the square forever.

Betrayal at its lowest and most malicious dark moment-
intentional sin-can not cause desertion of my affections for her.
I see only her goodness as she shines her radiant
face towards mine. Her light is bright. It reaches
infinity in a measurement of mere inches.
Flowers in full bloom and bright array
against blue mountain skies exemplify her
sublime countenance. She is oh so high
she can touch the sky at midnight.

Water running swift and cool out of the forest
breaks and sprinkles shadows on the pool
of love she plays in; they dance the sugar plum.
When she is at rest her energy brings
peaceful waves of music, magical mystery notes
into the silent atmosphere (she makes me sing) .

Her angelic algebraic innocence is pure; it compounds my love
to a degree unreachable. She takes me to the Nth degree,
and as far as the east is from the west
my love for her is exponential.
