Extremes Poem by Robert Melliard

Extremes

There are people (mostly men)
who seem to want to make life harsh.
They'll trick you, even rob you,
if you give them half a chance.

But there are others (luckily)
who do their best to help.
They know that life means more
when caring for the sick or poor.

Most of us lie somewhere in between
within these weirdly opposite extremes.
