Eye Drops Poem by David Darbyshire

Eye Drops

Rating: 5.0

I was totally unaware
of her sexy glare,
I really tried not to look,
my blood started to cook.

I tried to stay cool,
drank a large ice water.
Leaned back on my stool
and awaited the slaughter.

I thought 'should I'?
or 'should I not'?
had to really think,
about offering her a drink.

My blood cooled down,
and I stood my ground.
I walked right up to her,
asked, 'what drink would you prefer'

Guess what she said to me?
I have two friends, I'll take three!
If a strange girl gives me another wink,
I will offer her eye drops, should make her think.
