Eyes Open
I closed
My eyes
And searched
Deep inside.
Years of inaction
Seemed to appear
Thoughts of doing
And not doing.
I feel myself
A rusted nail
Weakened by time
Unable to perform.
This revelation
Will help me
Wake up
To act now.
Shed weaknesses
Rebuild strength
I'll go forward
Eyes open.
