Eyes That Quest Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Eyes That Quest

Rating: 5.0

Man's eyes see what is visible,
not the things that are viewless;
Alluring lakes and rivers
overflow with water of gladness.

Tired eyes though don't enjoy
the beauty and wonder in sight;
Amazing scene in front
fades into the shadow of the night.

Quest for the most elegant place,
Using not the sense of sight;
Ever beautiful promised land
offers undying delight.
