Face To Face With The Sea Poem by Iris Mista

Face To Face With The Sea

Driven away, it happened before
When I thought I've found a shore
Back to the deep and empty sea
To where all the lonely beings flee

Ashamed for not being allowed
Not even aware of the about
I solely know it is my time to go
No home to where I will flow

God, the Man with no face
I looked for Him in any place
Fooled myself, seeing His shade
While of falseness He was made

In this world of human beings
Emptiness in all my seeing's
What is it that can be found
My feet on sinking ground

I'll go down to were I belong
In deepest waters, waves so strong
leaving this world, forever to be
A lonely soul in the empty sea
