Faceless And Faithless Poem by Mark Hopwood

Faceless And Faithless

Rating: 5.0

We are the faceless few
the surgeon's removed all signs of life
Now they brainwash and hypnotise us
With a flick of the shiny knife.
Everyone's a plastic surgeon.

They take our faces away, and give them to themselves
Now they have two and we are none
How can we live another day
As they leave us lying putrid, but in the corner, out of the way
Now they have free run of the place to make use of their two faced ways

Everyone will feel the aftermath, in one sense or another
It will always be this way So man will kill his brother
And its no good fighting back you end up gettin ripped to shreds
it seems to me to be so futile, to end up a shell or left for dead.

We are the faithless few
Here to be used and treaten as scum
We can never ever win
All we can do is run
On and on we run and hide, but there is no safe place
They track us down effortlessly, just look for the one with no face.
So we have nothing
And them, they have it all
All that we have left, is this very long, hard fall.

The Yin & the Yang I guess, Sorry for not replying for so long, I guess life got in the way. On the bright side, there is always a bright side, the darkness cancels itself out to become nothing while the light is always waiting to shine on, but hey, I've had a few drinks so please ignore my ramblings lol. hope you are well Ace.

'Only in the darkness can the light shine' ~ this is a quote from a poet but I don't remember his/her name. But what they're saying is evil is needed for they're to be seen a good. Or how another one only in chaos can order reside. With desperate time comes desperate measures. Only in peace can their be a true balance. Equality is not measured in fairness but time.
