Faceless Intervention Poem by Cash Onadele

Faceless Intervention

Spend life here, a damn betrayal of human decency
A quick impetus to learn temperance, facing the poor
Forcing a dark and melancholic imagination of truce
See for yourself, the carnage, waste and losses of human potential
Human cruelty, undocumented and allowed to fester
Faceless capital looters and killing machines
When would you take responsibility for your actions?
The League of Nations have declared you a throw away
Reconsider your half century wrong ways, shape up
Inevitable change sometimes sneaks on you
Prepare to take a seat at the dinner table!
