Facing The Truth Poem by Izzy Ruffin

Facing The Truth

Rating: 5.0

My heart shatters,
like glass swiftly hitting the ground.
My eyes water,
like a dam, ready to burst.
I can slightly hear the whispers,
like a cool breeze,
on a warm summer day.
But it all begins to fade,
as I begin to
walk away.
Ignoring the lies,
and facing reality
