Fading

Take it back you say!
Take back all the peircing words you spake,
Take back all the things yuo did without delay,
Take back all the pain and ache.
You took back everything we shared,
You took back all the reasons you cared,
You took back every touch and every kiss,
You took back everything i'd miss.
Take it back you say!
No matter the things you speak,
No matter the things you do,
You can never take it all back,
You can never take back all our memories,
You can never take back the way you you made me feel,
You can never take back the way we loved.
Take it back you say!
You take back everything,
You take back all the bad,
You take back all the good,
You take back nothing.
The things you take back are things of the past,
The things you take back are things that won't last,
For they are already fading memories,
For they are already forgotten memories.

poet Richard Lovelace

Tell me not (Sweet) I am unkind,
That from the nunnery
Of thy chaste breast and quiet mind
To war and arms I fly.

True, a new mistress now I chase,
