Faint of Heart

Beneath your cool airy sheets
I hear your heart racing
Trying to catch my breathe
Glowing skin and damp hair
You hold the forty-five to my temple
"du wirst es bereuen" I whisper in a
easeful tone
smirk upon my corpulent lips and
cadaverous skin..
Convincing enough to make you
oscillate
A single tear rolls down your dewy
cheek
Your loving gaze becomes a blank
soulless stare

Perhaps you meant Breath in that third line? Cadaverous skin- very nice word use. Nice tones here. Cheers! (Report) Reply

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
