Fair Share Poem by dakota kennedy

Fair Share

The pain is fading away
Today is a good day
I have a family who loves me
My mom may never want to see
See me for a long time
But i'm not going to break my back and bend my spine
I'm not going to shead anymore tears
Because of my childhood years

I'm trying to move on
I hope it won't take long
I want to live
And maybe oneday forgive
It will be hard
I just have to play the right card
No matter how hard i try
My heart may always cry
There may always be hurt in my eyes
I smile and laugh but sometime's it's all lie's

But i know one day i'll get past that
To the point where i'm at
In my life
Where the love will replace th knife
I'm almost there
I've had my fair share
Of everything that is not fair
So please don't give up on me
I'll make you proud you'll see
