Fairytale Poem by Nikki Addleton

i feel like a princess
locked in the high tower
the wicked witch casting her
spells full of power
she mixes potions in her couldren
i watch with a careful eye
i creep to the staircase quietly
Breathing a sigh of relieif
running fast through the woods
i sense she knows im gone
i wish for my knight in shining armour
to come along
a horse galloping fast
he scoops me up safely in his arms
a happy ever after falling for his charms
