Fairytale: The Moon & The Bird Poem by Guess Who

Fairytale: The Moon & The Bird

Rating: 5.0

There once was a fairy tale
Which I simply found on sale
It was a very emotional story
Two personalities searching glory
A story of two lives
Into the ocean of affection it dives
A story of two sides
A bird that always glides
And a moon encouraging it from above
Shining the bright rays of love
It was a story nearly complete
Daily the two sides would meet
But it was all a story of misunderstanding
Each side seeking the good for himself
Forgetting that love is all about sharing
Acting stupidly just as the dear night elf
The moon as usual seeking his freedom
The bird inspired tries to define freedom
Forgetting to help each other find the solution
They were two personalities united by time
Each waiting for the winds of change
Each searching for the keys to his cage
A cage holding one's emotions dead
A cage of truth as GuessWho said
A cage once open, all fears are left behind
A cage once open, both souls shall bind
Only then shall their story end
Only then shall their story start
Only then the mind would trust the heart
But the days pass, nothing new
conversations? ? not a lot just a few
Both wishing to be with each other
Both puzzled what can happen in the future?
Each trying to somehow trust the other
Each trying to push the relation a bit further
The author's fingers got tired of writing
The author's eyes got tired of watching
He's still waiting to end his write
Waiting to put the lovely last point
Guess his ink shall live a bit further
At the end of the day patience is golden ore
Maybe then shall his novel get a best seller
Maybe then the relation of the moon and the bird be better
But patience is always the man of the match
Gratefully the moon's ink has a pretty source
Wisdom inspired from his bird of course
