Fairytales Poem by Emillie DeVere

Fairytales

Rating: 5.0

Fairytales are whispers of long forgotten days

Memories of childhood dreams

Buried in the past along with so many others,

Teddy bears, dolls, and cribs

Dusty, forgotten, and old

The crisp, yellowed pages stained

By dainty fingers of the past

Yet those old, unrecalled words

Are sometimes all it takes to find the lost Kingdom of Peace

To submerge once more, in a world of fairytales…
