Faith Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

Faith

When all precepts of men fall short of mark,
And for a line to grasp, there’s none to find,
A wisp of truth among the shreds may spark,
As true of stones colliding and would grind;
Can men contain the sky that’s limitless?
Like sea that has a bottom though how deep?
When heart aspires of Heaven for its bliss,
Though mind succumbs to doubt that soon would creep;
But of unknowns, I’d chose the splendid deal,
Of awesome myths, if myths they all would be,
Rather than be among minions of Hell;
“So sorry, Mr. Devil, sir, not today,
“But if you really have to aim for me,
Come back a day after eternity.”
