Faith Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Faith

Rating: 5.0

Angels swim seas of despair
to find us as we walk amid the rain of tears
with umbrella prayers to protect us.

Long before we fall,
mother-like arms catch us
and pillow us to safety.

Never touch the fires of self doubt,
never close your eyes to hope
until a priest administers last rites.

I'm learning to love myself
and believe in you.

Faith is acting on what one believes in. FAITH KEEPS THOSE THAT KEEP THE FAITH - Mother Teresa. A lovely poem penned with insight. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem THE PHOENIX STRANGLER.
