Faith
On this day of Atonement
I fast and keep the faith
free from man's objection
that bruise and scathe.
I will keep all Feasts
I see outlined in His book
and skip the pagan holidays
that man's traditions took.
I'll keep His commandments
all aspects of His laws
search out all His truth
the ones that give me pause.
To God, belongs the Glory
to Him belongs all praise
I am a servant, as His Son
to follow all my days.
My God, My Great Creator
shines brightly in my soul
giving me completeness
keeping my heart whole.
