Faith Hope Peace Poem by Richard Sockett

Father thank you for this brand new day
Adoration comes to you Lord every time we pray
Intercede for us when we close our eyes and seek your face
This house of God if full of love and grace
Hear us Father as we shout and sing your praise
Hallelujah chorus getting louder, church roofs we love to raise
Open our hearts and minds Lord so we can know you better
Pour out your spirit soak us so we can’t get any wetter
Each night you light our sky Lord with a hundred million stars
Praise be to Jesus you won the fight and bore the battle scars
Each morning you put the sun in the sky to give us light and heat
Amen to our God who helps us grow crops like rice and wheat
Churches join together to spread good news across the land
Encourage us Lord and guide us with your mighty hand
