Faithful Consumer Poem by Melissa Hurst

Faithful Consumer

O how sweet 'Mina pours,
milky white and my lungs drown from this downpour.

'Mina feeds my greedy mouth,
but by my love and his exquisite flavor
do I swallow.

No other will I consume,
no other breathless shouts I wish to hear,
but as times before, he departs
and I am left with a dropp like a tear
that cascades down my abandoned cheek.
