Faithful Friend Poem by Sam Pendlebury

Faithful Friend

Love is a faithful friend
It will stay up late just to keep you warm
Or split a cookie, then give you the larger piece
It will walk many mile's just for your smile
And then turn around and do it again
It will wash your car in a pouring rain
Or cut your lawn in a thunder storm
It will wake in the middle of the night
to share a shake
Even chocolate, if that's what it takes
It has no bounds, it knows no limits
It will always be your most faithful friend
