Faithless Poem by Khaleel Steir

Faithless

Why do I have the worst luck?
Like God himself, has made sure I can't be happy
I'm done with trying to show her that she deserves better
This damned wall he placed in my way
Almost unbreakable, impenetrable.
So I'll walk a different path, the lesser traveled path
Another lonely walk down the misty road of uncertainty
May he stop watching over my every step and leave me the hell alone
