Fall Poem by Hillary Unknown

Fall

How could man have been an ape?
I have to stand and gape
So smart and different than the animals
God didn’t make us like them, like cannibals
God stands back
And tries to relax
His work is done
But it only took one
To unravel every plan He’d had
They made Him only sad
His heart is grieved
As He asks them to leave
The place of perfection
That’s been their “connection”
Tears roll down His cheeks
As they leak
Sending the rain to us
Made from only dust
