Fallen Angel Poem by miesha devres

Fallen Angel

Rating: 4.3

White wings with drops of red
show my impurity to the world
There's no hiding it now, it's shown to all.

I've fallen from grace, hard and fast,
but its not the fall, its the ground that hurt worst of all.
The sudden impact, the reality sets in,
Forgive me Lord, for I know I have sinned

My sullied wings didn't catch me
They let me sink
How could it be that I've ended like this.
Though they're tainted with iniquity,
they still should soar.
I guess this angel should have tried a little more.
