Fallen Angel Poem by Cassie Randall

Fallen Angel

Rating: 5.0

Where fallen angels spread their wings
A lonely soul cries and sings
Her song of anger, hurt and pain
As teardrops fall like summer rain
Stinging face, smudging eyeliner
A tortured memory that's defined her
To be the person the she seems
Locked into harrowed dreams
She begs forgiveness, cries out louder
Wipes her tears and stands up prouder
Raises up on wings of black
Promises that she won't turn back
Hatred fills within her eyes
Because of all her fathers lies
She takes a look of what she had
Then cries a mighty 'hate you dad! '
The darkness falls she spins around
Her wings have broke
