Fallen Angel Poem by Thistle Wargul

Fallen Angel

When will you listen?
When will you hear?
When will the shell you live in
Finally disappear?
The light is penetrating
Your long forgotten past.
Open your emotions,
This chance could be your last.

When will you win?
When will you lose?
When will you apologise
To those that you abuse?
The hate that’s running through you veins,
Is burning you with fire.
Don’t wait for it to fill you up,
Keep on climbing higher.

I am the fallen angel
Invisible while I fly.
Guardian of the Earth,
The justice and the right.
I’m the one that no-one knows,
Making the world a better place.
The last one in existence
From a long forgotten race.

When will you fight?
When will you fall?
When will the greed you live with
Make you lose it all?
The power and the pain
The poison and the pleasure,
You have it all, but still want more,
It’s all too much to measure.

When will you lie?
When will you learn?
When will you hidden talents
Begin to earn?
No pain no gain no effort,
Is holding you back,
Come on now and take it,
Before I hold you back.

Hello?
Are you looking for
An answer for the lies?
I’m right here in front of you.
Use your eyes!

When will you live?
When will you die?
When will what you’ve got
Make you cry?
If you don’t hurry up
And sort things out,
Start watching your back,
‘Cos time’s running out.

I am the fallen angel
Invisible while I fly.
Guardian of the Earth,
The justice and the right.
I’m the one that no-one knows,
Making the world a better place.
The last one in existence
From a long forgotten race.

I am the fallen angel,
Who’s living with the lies.
My breath is torn
My heart is cold,
Forever to close my eyes.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I love the imagery the tone the format....well I could even say it is just as good as Robert Frost. Very well done.

Oh, I rather enjoyed the tone of your poem, gave it a flowing song sound.

Nice. Thought provoking. Have to read it a couple times to search for (reveal) the deeper message. Enjoyable. Keep on keeping on.
