Fallen Angel Poem by Berta Vieira

Fallen Angel

Rating: 5.0

Fallen angel...
you've lived your life so carefree,
your future sorrow you did not foresee.

Fallen angel...
dancing foolishly around the fire,
of your folly you did not tire.

Fallen angel...
you've singed your wings without a care,
your morals cast freely into the air.

Fallen angel...
for so long you've played with fire,
toiling with your hearts desire.

Fallen angel...
your wings touched to flame,
how foolishly you've soiled your name.

Fallen angel...
you've played with lies, emotions and deceit,
your soul now lays broken in defeat.
