Falling In Love

Falling in love
Yet with a heart still hurting
Is it the best idea?
But what can we do
We cant stop it from happening
We cant just tell ourselves to stop
It just happens when you least expect it
In one moment you could be in love
The next moment your heartbroken
One word is all it takes
To have someone heartbroken
But your different
People that know about you
Say we would make a cute couple
In someways it makes me jump in joy
In other ways it makes me feel like crying
My hopes of you liking me are getting higher
But that was the part that I was scared of
My hopes are getting higher
But that's not all that is getting higher
My chances of being heartbroken are getting higher
My chances of going to my corner and crying are getting higher
But my chances of believing in love is getting lower
My chances of even looking for love is getting lower

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
