Falling In Love Poem by Sofiul Azam

Falling In Love

Falling in love doesn't care whether it's time
to watch an oil tanker go burst and drown.
Say it happens without reason or rhyme.

If you have hope to do things grand and sublime,
you'll end up on the stage acting as a clown.
Falling in love doesn't care whether it's time

to fool around like freaks though it's no crime.
After it, hope to be neat as grass well mown.
Say it happens without reason or rhyme.

Not too often it sounds like a wind chime
when life surprises you still with a frown.
Falling in love doesn't care whether it's time

for a dumb play it forces you to mime
when you don't want to be taciturn in town.
Say it happens without reason or rhyme.

Everything's fair in love's maddening clime -
even the glory of wearing a gold crown.
Falling in love doesn't care whether it's time.
Say it happens without reason or rhyme.
