Falling Into Like
Is love for you
a gentle chore,
that keeps you wanting
more and more?
Is love a constant
throbbing ache,
to be endured
for heaven's sake? ?
Does love cost you
all you own,
to make excuses
and condone?
Is love just
an aching need;
A bittersweet wish
not guaranteed?
If this is love,
then go on strike;
No love for you,
Fall into like.
