Pensive reflections in the newly assembled mirror.
Grandparents speak into it the tales of childhood gone.
A bittersweet smile on the changing face of their granddaughter-
Now 25, a woman, an auntie, a teacher and more,
Though still but a child in heart and in mind.
A glance into the reflective pane and there smiles the child
They used to see in the ever altering face of a young woman.
A young woman inside whom dwells a cheeky child that never truly
Grew up!
