Fantasy Poem by G J Salgado

Fantasy

Once I heard the thunder crash I knew he was at my doorstep,
When I looked beyond the corridor I recognized his footsteps,
In the shadows of lightning I tasted his tears while he wept,
Drying his eyes I looked deep into his soul as if not to forget,
Within that time he lit the magic inside me that will always be kept.

Then the secrets hide in the stars as the sky fell unto its knees,
Blowing throughout the stories of the storm amidst the raining breeze,
I pulled him closer until the thunderstorm was silent enough to hear him breathe,
My bones were crushed and fused to his by what the moon sees,
Glowing from the love that we share for each other beyond all galaxies.
