Far Ahead Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Far Ahead

Rating: 5.0

I forgot to take her notice
It was fulfillment of promise
She had given me years back
To come and stay with her pack

I was day dreaming
As her memory was just beaming
She was just leaning over
I was stunned to see her here

She had come from back door
I did not hear her foot steps near
She was all ready for bursting the news
I saw bright shine on her face for views

I heard her saying
As she started laying
Besides me with allurement for surrender
It was louder than lightening thunder

"Love, you have won your battle"
"Now we can think about to settle"
So far we were among the herds of cattle
Now nothing should fall on us as fatal

I had tears in eyes
What was she in fact thought to try?
I thanked her brave attempt
That was all I remembered and kept

I gave her room to maneuver
There was enough of space on shoulder
She had enough of joy to rest there
I was open and in mood here

I stared her now in fact
She drove me crazy by her act
The dream world was about to be reality
It was only her specialty

I must give full marks to all females
They are far ahead of males
In taking decision about future
As male sometime prefers to linger

An ego stops me from going near
As it is unfounded and unsure fear
How to say "Thank you" for what all she did
But she was there all the time to provide me the lead
