Far And Beyond (The Endless Skies) Poem by Robert Lawrence

Far And Beyond (The Endless Skies)

I know about the rivers and streams
Heard about the lands and seas
Rumors about the lakes and ponds
But shouldn't we think far and beyond?
The skies, the stars, the birds and planes
Zooming around in different lanes
Up and above your front lawn.
Isn't that found far and beyond?
Or the sun, the moon, the near and far
We shouldn't forget - also the stars.
We went many places before the break of dawn,
So Wasn't it great to go far and beyond?
