Far Away

I have written this poem in my own website in 2007

Far Away
Dearest One I tell you this
It is so far away from Home
yet so nearby my heart
I feel the rain on your head
the cooled water in your heart
I see your gentle smile
just for a while
then you turn to be sad again
will I see you smile again?
as lovely as I've ever seen?
Time has come to us
I can tell you this, it's a bliss
so far away from Home
yet nearby my heart
I know the taste of the cooled water then
especially at midnight time
to know you, to smile at me, is no crime...

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
