Fare Thee Well True Love Poem by Bruno A. Okall

Fare Thee Well True Love

Shakespeare created and killed true love
In Romeo and Juliet, the play
Each emotion exactly in ploy
Imagination's figment we have

Then, Titanic, by James Cameron,
Jack and Rose marked an era of Love's resurrection
Sorry it died again in the sea
An extinct true love we'll never see

Love and myth share a lot
The first is four, then foul and finally lost
A play, a game which harms
All remains are chances and charms

Love is a blind word in a blind world
Who will see the other?
Woe onto you hunter
For love is dead, colder than ice,
Till you meet in paradise
