Farewell - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Farewell - Lincoln Park Zoo

I am Anana, polar bear,
Spending a bunch of showtime years
At home at Lincoln Park Zoo, where
I've heard the joy of all your cheers.
From just a cutesy cub, I grew
Into an actress, star of show.
And each of you came, hoping to
Catch sight of me before you'd go.
Well now, the Zoo powers that be
Are building a new fancy place
For polar bears. What about me?
Another zoo is making space.

Good bye to my Lincoln Park Zoo.
It has been grrreat being with you.
