Farewell Mandela

A moment to think
A day in memento
A season to reconcile
And a date to enter history

A tale of two cities
A talk of a hero
A moment to be silent
And a date to enter history

A fare thee well Mandela
A viva song to you
A match to bid you
And a date to enter history

A cry for wisdom
A tear in remembrance
A sob in memory
And a date to enter history

A day be-mourned
A sad farewell Mandela
A RIP message from all
And a date to enter history

Fare thee well beloved Nelson
Watch our every footstep Mandela
Guide our weakened souls and thoughts
And finally RIP King of Peace Nelson Mandela
