Farewell to a Friend

When we were together
The value was not apparent
But only laugh and joke
My mother was yours and yours mine
No margin exist between us
Two bodies but one heart
I now know how excellent a friend you were
Hope to meet you in Firdaus and forever

I can feel you are there now
Where grief and sadness amiss
Only joy and happiness exist
For those like you who deserve
Good things promised by almighty
That cares for those who obey

I bear witness of your servitude to Him above
Working and obeying without fatigue
In schools and mosques without relent
With joy, smile and satisfaction
From the path of Shaitan that misleads
To the path of the of the righteous
