Farkhondeh Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Farkhondeh

Farkhondeh

Those who have poem’s name must be ‘Happy and prosperous.’
We talk of examples, two of them; one last and one first name.
First is man, next a girl.

Man was killed and; excuse? “He helped them in hijack.”

Girl was killed, beaten, burned, excuse? “Burned Koran.”

Both claims mostly wrong than in right.

I know the characters who escaped; and murdered, a colleague and comrade.

Escapees on plane:
Elected president, suggested by leader, I opposed.
MKO was the next, prisoner and released, joined the mass, then against.
And pilot, poor major, ambitious, brainless.

I know them very well.

Encountered the first and got involved in handshake.
The second wrote books that I purchased, mainly read.
And the last a colleague, flying Hercules.

So it was, till-until…the page turned.

Case against Farkhondeh, our colleague who lost life in Tehran,
Was funny-stupid, I laughed at, when myself encountered the rulers’ dirty games.
Nothing was happy or prosperous.

And the girl, Farkhondeh, she was killed in Kabul.
The same was with poor girl; no show of happiness, prosperous.
Media twisted, diverted stories, all is changed, externals, internals.
She had a secret love and sought help, of Allah, the Koran, and shrine.
In this path she noticed depth of filth, prism of drug dealers and shamans.
“See people, this is none…” she opened a folded talisman.
United the kings of cheating and, the gods of foul games
Wanted her out of way…
She ended hard beaten by the mobs, killed and burned.

What about the muftis and justice, government? Good question.
